NURSING) , GENERAL NURSING AND MIDWIFERY (GNM) programs and P.B.B.Sc NURSING Program in healthcare profession. Our curriculum is designed to foster professional growth. Aims

The general aims of nursing is to provide the learning atmosphere and opportunities for students to train NURSES equipped with knowledge, competence and commitment who are self directed individuals and responsible citizens.

Objectives

  • Apply knowledge from physical, biological and behavioral sciences, medicine including alternative system and nursing in providing nursing care to individuals, families and communities.
  • Demonstrate competency in providing health care to individual, sick or well, using nursing process.
  • Provide promotive, preventive and restorative health services in line with the national health policies and programs.
  • Utilize latest trends and technology in providing health care.
  • Communicate effectively with individual and groups and members of the health tem in order to promote effective interpersonal relationship and teamwork.
  • Demonstrate skills in teaching to individuals and groups in clinical/community health setting.
  • Demonstrate leadership and managerial skills in clinical/community health settings.
  • Conduct need based research studies in various settings and utilize the research findings to improve the quality of care.
